AXIR Interview Buddy — Terms of Service (EU/EEA)

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you") and Axir Consulting, registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("AXIR," "we"), for use of AXIR Interview Buddy (the "Service"). They incorporate our EU/EEA Privacy Policy. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your EU/EEA country of residence.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
2. The Service
AXIR provides AI-powered interview coaching: you supply a job description and resume; our system generates questions, conducts a live voice mock interview with an AI interviewer, analyzes the session, and produces a coaching report. Rounds include behavioural (STAR), domain/technical, and salary negotiation.
3. You Are Interacting With an AI
The interviewer, questions, analysis, and reports are generated by artificial intelligence, not a human. You will be informed at the start of each voice session that you are speaking with an AI, and AI-generated outputs are identified as such. AI outputs may be inaccurate or inconsistent.
4. No Guarantee of Outcome; Not Professional Advice
The Service is a practice tool. We do not guarantee any interview result, job offer, or salary outcome. The Service is not legal, financial, or professional career advice.
5. Your Account
You may register via Google or LinkedIn (OAuth). You are responsible for your account's security and for activity under it.
6. Your Content and Licence
You retain ownership of what you submit (resume, job descriptions, voice, transcripts — "User Content"). You grant us a licence to host, process, transcribe, analyze, and display it to provide the Service to you. Any use of your data to improve or train our AI models is separate, optional, and based on your explicit opt-in consent as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service unlawfully; submit others' personal data without permission; reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its models; or use it to build a competing product.
8. Subscriptions, Pricing and Renewal
Paid plans are billed via Stripe and renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. We disclose the renewal period, price, and cancellation method before purchase. Prices where shown to EU consumers include applicable VAT.
9. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off)
As an EU/EEA consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of concluding the contract, without giving any reason.
Immediate access and loss of this right. If you ask us to begin providing the Service immediately (before the 14 days end) and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins, then, once you have started using the Service, you can no longer withdraw. We capture this consent and acknowledgment at checkout and confirm it to you by email.
If you have not waived the right and you withdraw: if you have not used the Service, you are not charged; if you have used it, you pay only an amount proportionate to what you used. We refund any amount due within 14 days using your original payment method. You may withdraw by using the cancellation function (§10), by the model withdrawal form [link], or by any clear statement to support@axir.io.
10. Cancellation ("Cancel My Contract")
You can cancel your subscription at any time using our clearly labelled cancellation function, which is easy to find, works on all devices, and does not require you to log in to reach it. Cancelling is at least as easy as subscribing. When you cancel, billing stops and you keep access to paid features until the end of your current paid period.
[IMPLEMENTATION NOTE — the no-login cancellation function required by EU consumer law (applicable 19 June 2026) is a planned follow-up; cancellation is currently available in-app via the billing portal.]
11. Deleting Your Account
Deleting your account is separate from cancelling. On request, your account is disabled and enters a 30-day grace period during which you can reactivate it. After 30 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible, and your personal data is erased as described in the Privacy Policy (subject to limited legally required retention such as invoices). Deletion does not by itself entitle you to a refund beyond your withdrawal rights in §9.
12. Intellectual Property
The Service, its software, models, and branding are owned by AXIR or its licensors. Reports are provided for your personal use.
13. Third-Party Providers
The Service depends on providers identified in the Privacy Policy (voice, LLM, storage, authentication, payments, analytics).
14. Warranties and Liability
The Service is provided with the quality required by applicable EU consumer law. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude other implied warranties. We do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our aggregate liability for other claims is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid in the prior [12] months or [EUR 50].
15. Changes to These Terms
We will give at least [30] days' notice of material changes by email or in-product notice. If you do not accept them, you may cancel; continued use after they take effect is acceptance. Changes do not retroactively remove your consumer rights.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and your EU/EEA country of residence, and as an EU/EEA consumer you keep the mandatory protections of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. (Counsel to finalize.)
